This week’s unsigned artist is NJ’s own, Someone Say Something. Composed of Marco Colasacco (keys, background vocals), Ryan Harte (drums), Stephen Lemos (bass), Tim Sussman (lead vocals), and Carlo Colasacco (guitar), the quintet delivers a sensational combination of pop rock melodies and humorous, quirky lyrics.
I first heard of the band when I saw them play an acoustic show at Angels & Kings earlier this month. The band put on an entertaining set filled with exciting, ear pleasing music that is catchy and fun. Listening to their self-titled album, you can’t help but fall in love with the electrifying guitar and piano rhythms. Some of the stand out tracks are “Lose Control,” “Because Of You,” and “Let The Games Begin.”
The band is playing in Hoboken NJ at O’Donaghue’s On First this Saturday, November 28th. The show is at 10:00 p.m. and is 21+. Listen to the band as ESBMusic’s Song of The Day today! For more information on the band check out MySpace and get their album now on

The songs are okay but I would say could benefit from a bit more aggression and complexity, it’s a bit inoffensive so wouldn’t stand out from any other you’d hear on a night out.
Cool, good pick. I just saw they were chosen as one of the Hometown Heros in the Jan issue of AP
