A diverse array of local and international bands are slated to perform at the Seaport Music Festival’s first official CMJ new music showcase scheduled for 7 p.m., Friday October 23 at the downtown performance/arts space “On The Side” at Seaport (210 Front Street, at Beekman).

The music ranges from pop glam to electronica to psychobilly to rock, by a line up of bands that includes:
Spleen United
Dan Black and Man Like Me
Patrick Cleandenim
Slow Country
Workout and more
Doors open at 6 p.m. and admission to the show is $8. Local Seaport-area Fresh Salt, will host a cash bar throughout the evening.
Featured bands can be heard on Seaport Music Radio, which streams from noon to 2 p.m. every Monday on the internet station East Village Radio.
