From Canadian teen melodrama to rapping about booty calls, Aubrey “Drake” Graham has made a name for himself in the hip-hop world.

If you’re a fan of Degrassi: The Next Generation, you know him as “Jimmy Brooks,” the basketball player confined to a wheelchair after getting shot by his classmate in season 4.

He’s got some good songs and I like the single “Best I Ever Had.”

Rolling Stone Magazine credits him as “…the best actor-turned rapper since Brian Austin Green.”

Who knew Jimmy’s rapping on screen would eventually land him a record deal. Maybe Jake Epstein will be next!

Check out his music on MySpace and get his single “Best I Ever Had” on Drake now!
