I wanted to write this tid bit I found when I was up late watching reruns of Save By The Bell on The N, but I’m kind of embarrassed. My sister has called me obsessed with Metro Station. I guess I kind of am but any way here it is. I was watching the N and for those of you who watch the channel know that there are a ton of commercials appealing to the tween genre for various text message services and poppy CD’s. Well there was a commercial for that “Now Thats What I Call Music” latest CD volume series. I was watching the commercial unaware that they had already gone up to volume 28 when it seems like that its only been around for a few years. They were going through the songs on the CD when to my surprise they cut to Metro Station’s “Shake It.” I was so surprised. I mean I know they are on Z100 and played at the Zootopia Ivillage before the show, I had no idea that it was at this point. They have officially become teenybopper music. It just makes me laugh…so I guess I am obsessed. Ha-ha…
